Massie was a solid conservative who was well regarded as a representative of the people of his district. The Republican nominee will prevail in that district, but he is essentially a Trump sock puppet and will be a junior member of Congress. He had gained seniority over his 14 years in Congress and was a member of both the coveted Rules and Judiciary committees. He did however lead the drive to compel the (as yet incomplete) release of the Epstein files - so he had it coming.
