Money begets money and Mr. Smullen seems dead in the water only four months from the GOP primary. He can tie up the C line and cause trouble but seems unable to compete against the likely Dem candidate even if he won the GOP nod. He should pay himself back and run for his Assembly seat, because he is not going to Washington.
On the Dem side, Blake Gendebien is raising in six figures in the last quarter, but got a big head start on the money race last year....The other Dem running, can't remember his name.
