Creating these accounts was actually a good idea, but naturally they are named after the Narcissist in Chief - the actual impact, as can be expected, is also overhyped. The only accounts that are receiving matching funds from the government are those of children born during Trump’s second term (2025-2028). They are essentially custodial IRA accounts for minors. Still worth participating, especially if you can get matching funds from an employer or donor.
