Town of Watertown residents only now learning the real cost of pie in the sky keep hearing more as talk continues of an events center, now anchored the the increingly moribund mall.....A mall that now relies on slot machines to attract people,
Town residents are going to be saddled with a new tax..,,Do they want to pay more ? Likely not.

What?? Maybe it's time you started using the voice thingy your buddy Garie has to use now.
I lived in the Town of Watertown. My question is how did our town supervisor get away with this white elephant; did no one look at what this would really cost?
You who were elected did you not question the outcome? Shame on you all.
Apparently, the Town of Watertown’s politicians have looked at the budget, the population trends, and the local economy and decided what’s really missing is an event center nobody asked for and taxpayers may be stuck paying for. Why fix the problems you already have when you can build an expensive new one? Nothing says economic development like betting public money on a grand vision and sending taxpayers the bill when reality crashes the party.
