Electoral News

Mary Peltola says The NY Times is just trying to sell papers with its bombshell report on the ballot scam in AK......

She also calls it just a distraction...

On another matter, totals this morning from the Jefferson BOE show 2668 people have voted early at the sites in Watertown and Depauville.... Most of those at the County Building.

Of those early voters, 1066 are Dems and 1017 are GOP with a few hundred other or no party.

Among mail in absentees, 2859 ballots were sent out and 1795 have been returned

So about 4500 have voted already in Jefferson County and Commissioner Ladd expects a healthy turnout through the weekend.

And because one person cares, the TV lineup this morning  is Spectrum News, WWNY, FOX News, CNBC, NBC Watertown and CNN.

To those who say why do I print this bullshit...the answer is don't read it.

That’s just what it is. I read this blog purely for entertainment. The content is so consistently terrible that it’s become a comedy show—and unlike the good ones, this one doesn’t even know it’s a joke.

Did the Dems steal the idea from the Republican Party’s Florida’s 2020 election ?

In Miami-Dade’s Senate District 37, Democratic incumbent José Javier Rodríguez was up for re-election. Seeking to flip the seat, GOP operative Frank Artiles recruited Alex Rodriguez—an auto-parts worker with zero political experience and no intention of running an actual campaign.

Alex Rodriguez ran as an independent, put up no signs, gave no speeches, and held no town halls. But his last name was all that mattered.

On Election Day, thousands of confused voters checked the wrong box. Alex siphoned 6,382 votes, allowing the Republican challenger to win by a mere 32 votes.

Running a spoiler candidate isn't strictly illegal. The scheme turned into a criminal enterprise when Artiles secretly paid Alex Rodriguez over $44,000 in off-the-books cash to pay his filing fees and cover personal expenses—followed by falsified campaign disclosures to hide the money.

The Fallout: Alex Rodriguez pleaded guilty to voter fraud and campaign finance crimes, agreeing to testify against Artiles. Frank Artiles was convicted by a Miami jury on three felony counts.

Not fair to ask Sticker Mule questions about the district he intends to represent. The stock answer “whatever Trump said” doesn’t work , and Grok wasn’t handy. If you are satisfied with electing a Trump sycophant, and don’t consider character, vote Constantino. Just don’t expect him to actually represent the district.

Did anyone read the opinion piece in the Times Union by Chris Churchill?

Highly unusual for that half ass Republican Vice President to
Come up way to make an appearance on behalf Tony Tightjeans.
The article seems to open up a long list of questions or observations as to why Stefanik was a nooooo shoooow to Trump
Last week in Syracuse, and the day before election no less.
Looks like you freaking MAGA bit off more than you can chew..
Don’t necessarily blame the MAGA crowds that still follow the current president Trump himself.
Tony will have a lot of people to blame and start with Vance and himself. Their fingers are long.

More than you would think but those 1017 returned by Republicans may very well voted for him the Democrats.. You would be surprised how many Rhinos there are in the north country. Everyone is furious about inflation. The cost of everything including fuel is no longer affordable. Families paying weekly expenses with credit cards. Cost to fill a tank of gas $85.00!
Mr Vance can take his roadshow visit and shove it where the sun don’t shine.
Someone please ask Mr Vance if he or his best friend Marco Rubio ever got an answer where are the receipts paying the Russian back for the long weekend wedding party.

Pack up your MAGA gear, Blakeman cancelled on you. 😂

You're one of the Trump sycophants that gave us the orange idiot, Truthtard.

I want to know if it's true that he paid a lady $28K to file a SEC complaint against Genderbein. That would be the Trumpian thing to do.

3:16 Funny Mr. Vance ALWAYS says he has the ‘receipts’ on everything but haven’t heard Vance claim he has seen those receipts. It is a bit g mystery.

Toni tight jeans will be a friggin complete failure if elected. So easy to see. Stefanik will not get within 2 feet of him.

The Village Idiot?

You think that’s going to change anything? Boy are you stupid.

Ya I read where democrat voter turnout is expected to be 130%.

I read where Trump told his supporters to cheat like hell. Like nothing compared to the cheating Republicans have done in the past.
