The other argument on the City's legal bills is that its' a cost of doing business . Like heating the building or toilet paper in the rest rooms.
There was a lot spent trying to humiliate and remove Council Members and. they surely paid for advice on the Trooper takeover meeting. Of course there was negotiating the terms of surrender for the speed bump.....
And you can bet Dr. Larry spends a lot more on legal....
What's interesting is the Council detachment from the issue....Shouldn't they have been aware the lawyer numbers were far above what they authorized ? By the way true transparency means you shouldn't have to fight to get the "numbers".

Ummm…when it comes to toilet paper, there is no fire queen style lawyers union inflating the cost. The self regulating lawyers guild managed to repeal antitrust laws, not just for the cartel to own the market but also to allow mergers. There are no lawyers who are capable who are not forced to join a firm oligopoly. Also they are required to hire womyn and minorities so clients now have to pay twice. Once for the hours by the assigned attorney and a second time to have a pale Male check their work.
