The Republican candidate for Governor is now being criticized for his use of the state program for matching funds..,,,Bad enough, Republicans take part in this boondoggle but then they get caught claiming funds for ineligible contributions.
Bruce Blakeman apparently can't raise the big bucks to go after Governor Hochul who is slathered in big dollar donors.,,,You get $6 for every dollar raised up to a certain amount.
It would be good to look into how much local candidates are cashing out on this program but as broadcasters we know these state dollars end up in our coffers so we enthusiastically support all of this.
As for Blakeman, stories like this or the diversion from Cornell drive taxes, utility bills and regulation from the discussion,,,And Blakeman, who is the Conservative Party nominee, keeps talking about how he is pro choice and supports "common sense" gun control.
