The City is offering a free trash sticker as an incentive to use the public trash removal. That's a start.....
Free or discount toters is another possibility, as would be enhanced public outreach.....Working on building commercial pickup and other aggressive marketing designed to rebuild market share following a lengthy effort to deep six the service.

Unfortunately city hall couldn't run a lemonade stand successfully.

One step closer to how it used to be. Free. Just include it in everyone’s tax’s. What is the difference it’s weekly tax now, so some switched to private haulers, so they don’t pay the sticker tax, but everyone is still paying.

That’s a step in the wrong direction.
The trash service should be subbed out to a professional trash hauling company like it is in every other municipality, that is not prevented from doing so by the unions.
