There will be a Christmas Parade as for the second time this year the tin cup has brought dollars into City Hall for politically popular endeavors.
Free swimming for kids was the other time.
Area businesses contributed money to the City which purportedly is used for expenses related to the Parade which had been billed by City Hall as a costly anomaly.
You can contribute to the City at any time and you can convince yourself you are funding whatever you want to think you are funding.
There has always been a line item in the budget for donations. Be interesting to take a look at that. Others may have donated money over the years.
This matter was announced by the CM although the Mayor had earlier said she has no interest in taking her child out in the snow and cold.
Did they sell those Tee Box signs ?

This is absurd! Shame on City Council, we do not need handouts to provide a Christmas parade. Bye Bye Mr. Shoen and the rest of you. You did absolutely nothing during your time on council.
Mayor Sarah Compo Pierce need not take her daughter to the Christmas parade But as long as she is Mayor she should attend. The grand parents could always bring her daughter to the indoor festivities if the mayor thinks she would enjoy herself. If not don't bring the daughter
Let me guess, 8:30 a.m. is a tool bag, or a 47-year-old troll. This is funded by the taxpayer you fool, not one person should Dontate anything to the parade fund - unless they are a sponsor. What a joke of a city this is.
