Some traditions while out of favor are nice to enjoy....Like getting a post card from a friend on vacation...This one was from the Alamo, with a nice note on the back. It's something some effort is put into .
People don't send post cards anymore...They send phone photos. Like Christmas and birthday cards...They are gone as are sending flowers on Mother's Day or to your partner.
Post cards probably sit a long time on the rack in the Alamo gift shop, as do snow globes and all the other things tourists used to buy.
