The Ogdensburg man know as "N i g" (wouldn't let me type as one word) and original owner of Nig's Tavern from 1977 to 1997 has passed at age 94. Stuart Richards was well known in Ogdenburg and the bar under new ownership bears his name. While the name has nothing to do with race, there was a kerfuffle a couple years back on social media about it.
