A visit to the Fairgrounds just before noon today revealed no animals loose , but I saw some donkeys I a pen eating hay. I asked nervous circus employee who told me nothing was loose…Perhaps a busy body called police at 5AM because they saw animals and embellished the call with claims of giraffes. Police did find animals wandering around the parking lot but they were quickly rounded up.
The police video shows the animals behind a fence….. Although due to social media this was talk of the town today.
