Comptroller DiNapoli has put out a report saying NY cities are more and more exceeding the tax cap and facing slow growth in revenue and steadily rising cost...
So we need a report to utter that reality ?
Locally, Watertown does have steadily rising revenue due to deals on sales tax and hydro power...The latter will end soon.
The sales tax quarter ends Monday and I'm happy to inform Council we had a good summer so some more money will be coming.
