Police have put out a release saying they arrested a Robert Taplin in the alleged stabbing death of a 37 year old woman early this afternoon at the infamous 661 Factory Street ...Apartment 27.....
The woman's name has not been released. But the perp is said to have a record of a similar crime ten years ago....He pleaded guilty according to Florida media to involvement in a 2018 a homicide in Georgia. Taplin was from Watertown and stole a vehicle from here along with an accomplice...Taplin was charged with arson and his partner was charged with the stabbing murder of a 72 year old woman, according to accounts in Inform NY and papers down south......He is also a registered sex offender and has numerous drug offenses.
He was written up in the Jacksonville FL paper as an Adams native. Revolving door justice appears to have taken a life today.
