The family of 27 year old Albert Scott says the victim of the Jefferson Street beating 16 days ago did come out of a coma this week and underwent facial surgery for some of this head injures from the beating he took from what is thought a group of people he encountered after leaving a store on Factory Street.
The late night beating has produced no arrests and the ferocity of the assault would certainly discourage any witnesses.
In recent weeks that neighborhood has produced a rape, a murder and a couple of other knifings.

Too true 8:25. All the recent crime in Watertown is directly tied to the ruling liberals who embrace criminal activity. There is nothing that can be done to dissuade crime at the local level.
