Check cleared for my Ciry Taxes today. Seems not long ago it was under a grand ,now it’s over $1400. And it’s going to,get worse we are told……
The City gets more heat over its budgets than say a school district spending much more. I just think there best be a plan to contain costs……This year sales tax growth will mask the spending growth underway.
Let’s be clear , if taxes go up $150 next year I can and will pay, as will you. But a look around at houses with no people in them and falling apart should be alarming. That said I’ve got neighbors across the street and next door who are working on their property, so there are some anle and willing to invest in Watertown.

What do you expect the the run of the mill cop and queen are paid over $100,000 per year with gold plated benefits?
Town of Watertown now has a fire queen tax. So far town residents are fortunate that ol’ Joel was not as foolish as the Past mayors in the city who gave the queens a blank check and minimum manning .
Many could really use those $2000 and $5000 checks from Trump.
