On The Issues

The defenders of the faith who comment here continue to misstate my views on things City of Watertown...

I am not rooting for failure of the Golf Course....While I disagreed with the purchase, I was comatose at the time and do favor the City operating it,....all of it....now that a Council has committed to that course....That was what was in the paperwork when the course was bought.

As for the Zoo, I favor City operation of a scaled back nature trail/petting zoo operation with the whole Park under central management and an honest effort made to promote it as a regional asset so perhaps other funding sources will open up.

I agree we are over pooled for a City this size but I honestly don't know how you just walk away from a four million dollar water filled hole...

I favor having an aggressively promoted and imaginatively run refuse operation, and while I feel there is bloat at the top in the City, when I heard they are hiring an "Executive Principal" in the school district to oversee existing principals and vice principals, I realized the war is lost.

My views don't matter and affect nothing but they do provide aggravation for those needing it.
