What actually WORKED was Obama's agreement with Iran.

President Trump started this war because Iran is a self proclaimed enemy of the United States, and although not perhaps an “imminent” threat, was well on the way towards developing nuclear weapons. Unfortunately, it is now obvious that he underestimated Iran and had no clear end game.
Only fair to wait and see the conclusion of the ongoing negotiations, but the results will properly be measured against Trump’s promised results and his pointed criticisms of the JCPOA reached under Obama. He has set a high bar for success, if he delivers - he deserves full credit. If not, he will be responsible for the biggest U.S. foreign policy failure since the Vietnam war.
