Mr. Homan never used the term “rescued” when referring to the children. He claimed they had ‘located” previously unaccounted for children. Large numbers of children crossed the border and were irresponsibly not accounted for under Biden. Some, but not most, were victims of human trafficking. Most came to join parents and relatives living here. Doubt they would think of themselves as “rescued” when they are torn from their communities, imprisoned and then deported. Wonder how 5 year old Liam Ramos felt when he was apprehended and sent immediately to a detention facility in Texas?
