Trump: I Said It....I Was Wrong.....I Apologize

So much politics for a weekend....An eleven year old hot mic video released by of all people, NBC, has Donald Trump in a banter with a guy named Billy Bush in which Mr. Trump makes lewd and vulgar locker room style comments in what appeared to be an intended off mike venue in the make up trailer of a TV set.
Mr Trump released a midnight video apology but the incident has the media and political world a flutter.  The decision by NBC to hold the video till this moment proved fortuitous for Democrats, and likely was known about ahead of time by the Clinton campaign.
Ironically two other stories will get passed over due to this as the big debate nears on Sunday. The release of what Hillary Clinton said in those high dollar speeches is out and she tells Wall Streeters she has public positions and private positions and that she favors free trade and open borders.
Also we have learned Bill Clinton's remarks about the ACA were approved by the White House in a bid to tee up Hillary as the problem solver as Sunday's debate.
Locally, the Congressional candidates are weighing in with predictable statements while former GOP Governor George Pataki urged Trump resign the nomination.
The Sunday debate will please Anderson Cooper who will be seen by more eyes than he could ever imagine.
Coverage of the story varies widely, with Newzjunky not able to get enough while the WDT only ran a sidebar paragraph story on A-3.
There's two sides to this story....One is the comments buttress an existing narrative well established....The other is this was a private conversation of the kind any guy has been party too in some fashion.

That was a pretty insincere apology at best. He read what someone in his camp wrote for him without stuttering. Kindest thing I can say about it.

I don't care. I am still voting for him. So is everyone else who was supporting him before this.

No one believes that the lefttards have suddenly found Jesus. The lefttards have told us that marriage is whatever two or more people want it to be. Certainly not too sacred to have an affair. They have told us that a politician's sex life is no one's business but his own. They have told us it is funny and clever to call Palin a slut. But now we are supposed to believe they are offended by this behavior of Trump's? Nope, not buying it.

This miserable psycho needs to drop out of the race period .

The already reeling GOP will need to jettison any level of support or face dire consequences at the polls. The sum of this man's inadequecies multiples geometrically as time goes on, there is no escaping collateral damage for any GOP member of Congress who supports him . He is indefensible and self destructive beyond measure and will take not only the country down , but ALL who support him . Watch NBC dump Billy Bush regardless of their statement today .

Trump's zinger, for when this is undoubtedly brought up during Sunday's debate, should be he has public and private conversations, none of which are half as bad as Clinton having public and private positions. Either way, the only position Americans will be in is the current one: bending over.

8:34, by insincere are you comparing it to the usual Democrats apology where they say ooops "if" I offended, I'm sorry? Look, if you would rather vote for a criminal than a guy who can't keep his mouth shut, then get all wet and do it. You might have added that he made his statement without falling down, which the disease ridden Skank is hard pressed to do.

Nobody I know has ever used the word pussy inappropriately. The only time I have is when referring to the golf course hero. But I guess that wouldn't qualify as inappropriate usage, per se. As far as junk news, the little Smith boy has been excited for a long time. No news there.

He's done and won't need to worry anymore.

Farewell Trump.

Come on,all guys engage in this kind of stuff, crude jokes, etc. And so do girls, ever seen a group of girl out on bachelorette party night? This is all a big bunch of nothing.

I certainly was offended by what Trump said some eleven years ago but I also look at the alternative which is even worst. As a recent email from Mrs. Clinton's campaign head shows, she's not someone who can be trusted. She said in essence, "don't believe my public statements, it's what I say in private is what is to believed." While I wish the Republicans had nominated someone else, Clinton is just too dishonest to earn my support.

It's Trump or a continuation of 'unaffordable healthcare,' increasing a 20 TRILLION dollar debt ultimately a socialist agenda! This happy Capitalist will vote for Trump!

The other is this was a private conversation of the kind any guy has been party too [sic] in some fashion.

pro-tip: if your side is that it's normal for men to talk about using their celebrity and privilege to commit sexual assault with impunity, then you're on the wrong side.

Apology aside... T-rump uses the "it's a distraction" for cover - all the a growing number prominent GOPers are telling him to step aside; the party to move Pence up; and "save" the GOP ...

Ms. Stefanik is sticking with him ... wow...!!!

I can not and will not vote for Derrick, either, and for many reasons. But, to see Ms. Stefanik board the Trump Titanic saying she hopes his apology is sincere. That is astonishing. She should say: "I can no longer support him." Mr. Trump cannot change what we heard is his natural character - deal with it.

GOPers Abandoning Tump.

11:02- I'll see your pro tip and raise you one: if you have more contempt for off color language than actual threats or acts such as.....oh I don't know.....adultery in the oval office, assault on a stewardess, etc....(but, I guess that depends on what your definition of is, is). Give me a break. When your crooked, double standard, lying, establishment candidate comes out and denounces her own husband for these despicable acts, let me know.

Dan, maybe she has the guts to say she still supports him! She is that strong! You never sat around talking with other guys about ladies? Really? You never made a mistake? He is a human male! It happens. Guys want other guy's wife's! It's a fact. If she feels he should move on, that's what she thinks. I applaud real people. Not some fake saying he is sickened.

Well said Ray. Even in the military, you will hear far worse language. And for a veteran to react " oh, this is disgusting, and fellow party members should denounce him" are bold faced liars, period.

That " apology " was about as sincere as a hostage tape . conway wrotefor the ignoramus . He was beligerant , look at his eyes (the. Window to his rotten soul . ) he isnt even a skillful liar, just a dumb sociopathic anal retentive .

The biggest problem with it all! We should be worried about the economy that's been allowed to run free for the last four years. The split between EVERYONE! A war that never ends. Vets. Jobs. Healthcare! Not how one or the other feels about some long forgotten TV show, and the people connected to it. Plus, sorry, it takes two to DANCE every time! More issues and less tissues!

Just the Facts ! She talks ABOUT ALL THE CHANGE that will happen if elected, She has been in office for over 30 years and what has she done to help the elderly , The vets, people living on small pensions, high taxes, Jobs lost to overseas , people flooding into this country wanting all sorts of benefits that the rest of us had to work a lifetime paying taxes to get. She had 30 years to change the system and she chose to vote for her rich cronies .With all trumps faults he is still the best choice .
