Russell Takes on Andy In Bid to Not Be Seen as Albany Tool

Addie Russell made news yesterday on the HOTLINE by taking on Governor Cuomo, billing herself as hard working and most of all by eviscerating her largely silent opponent, John Byrne.
It was news on Newzunky although not on other media.
One wonders when this campaign commences. So far Ms. Russell has shown she learned something from her lackluster near loss two years ago.
Republican John Byrne With a Group of Home Schooled Youngsters

Republicans seem content to believe that by uniting four lines they will reverse Mr. Byrne's 2014 narrow loss.
It may work, but a trimmer Ms. Russell has worked on messaging and media. Mr. Byrne is relying on ambient anger at Albany being taken out on the Democrat from Theresa.

Byrne doesn't have a chance in hell. He barely won the primary after almost beating her last time. What does that tell you? His own party would rather have commie Addie than be stuck with John (Addie light) Byrne.

A trimmer Ms. Russell? Sexist much?

9:08 You have no idea what you are talking about. Because republicans voted for Sheridan that means they would rather have Addie Jenne Russell. With that logic you must be a democrat

9:08, it tells me Sheridan was a good candidate too. Remember, maid's outfits most always come in one color. She's an owned Democrat, owned by the Albany boyz. Always has been and always will be. St Lawrence county is getting what it deserves.

Byrne is no Republican. That's why he lost the primary on election night and was only bailed out by old aged absentee voters from Jeff County who blindly vote every year for whoever is running in their county.

Byrne just accepted an offer of Mary Rain to assist him with any legal questions about his campaign. This is the news coming out of SLC at this moment.

11:09 Byrne may not be a republican but he is not ADDIE.. Good enough reason for me to vote for him

10:58, If "Republicans voted for Sheridan," why is Byrne your nominee? Republican logic...

11:09, it's an oft repeated puke that Byrne is not a Republican. It's a neat story. But I ask you, do you like to have the party maid "representing" you in Albany? Get over yourself and start being honest.

10:58, don't be a dolt. Unless by "good candidate too", you mean in addition to the Olympian.

The fact is, that if Byrne didn't suck, he would have won big time in the primary, because the voters would have been impressed by his last near win and went 2with him again. Instead, over half the voters voted against him. And the only reason he won in the end, was because he played the democrat game using the absentee scheme.

9:37, I don't view it as sexist. I view it as an attempt to advertise for Adelaide's NYC Maid Service company. Thinner might make her party fees go up a bit. Hey, it worked for Gillibrand. She, according to Harry Reid, is the hottest member of congress. Our Addie is minor league. But ya never know.

1109.. Blindly voting is a democrat pun about older people... The Democrats are certainly out of touch with older voters, and seem to herd up their votes in flocks such as blacks in NYC and welfare and crossbreeds in SLC and Lewis Co that live for generations on welfare.

Addie Russel has made a bonehead tactical error. One of her latest ads shows her posed in front of the Mason farm in Cape Vincent boasting about not tolerating corruption in government. Now that's an absolute hoot!

The Mason's have long been publicly supportive of one of the most corrupt local governments in the north country. Egads! Does she have no moral compass? Who the hell counsels this woman?

Addie going against Cuomo is a farce. It's a political play done with a wink and nod. But if she keeps spouting her praise for HRC, that will indeed do her in. People can't stand HRC up here, so I wouldn't keep publicly praising her every five mins if I was AR.
