NY attorney general orders Trump Foundation to stop soliciting in state | Daily Mail Online

A lot of the media doesn't understand it, but a cease and desist letter from a headline seeking Attorney General is not the same as a court order. Usually such a letter is accompanied by a press release.
It's intimidating to the little guy and that's the intent....
For instance, if Judge McClusky issued an order for me not to wear the purple shirt I am now wearing, I would take it off for fear of a contempt charge and out of respect for the court. If I got a threatening letter from the Democratic AG seeking to help out Hillary Clinton by ordering me not to wear my purple shirt, I would continue to wear the shirt.
This is a press release action.
My question is how inept are these people not to have halted these actions over the years the foundation has been operating ?   The answer...very.....

This is a little like Obama trickling down orders to Loretta Lynch to turn her head on the mess Hillary made. Lynch then gave Comney his orders the rest is history...The NY attorneyGeneral forfills his bosses wishes

Schneiderman and Dannie should get a room. Both have made partisanship the most important thing in their lives.

What's in your wallet, now, eh, Mr. Trump???

Not only is the AG office inept for not taking action sooner over this very public charity, but the AG is scum bag for stopping the charity. Why not simply tell them to register within so many days? There is no doubt it is a legitimate charity. Much more legitimate than the Clinton Foundation is, that's for sure.

This has nothing to do with the electiion. The AG has been just as aggressive with the Clinton foundation - just coincidence that he exempted them from reporting requirement to name individual donors. The AG would give us more details, but he is no doubt busy investigating the criminal leak of Trump's tax returns.

The AG will eventually get connected to the same corruption lines that Phareet is chasing down. The Clinton foundation is violating the same protocols. Nice article in the WSJ about her missteps as well. This just puts more egg on the face of NY State. No surprise though. Dan, did you read that WSJ piece? Disgusting and shameful. Can we get them both to drop out? That would be the best thing for all of us.

10:43, you're a liar. Schneiderman hasn't made any attempt to shut down the Skank's State Department bribery program. Not sure he could anyway. But this is pretty funny and dishonest, even by Dannie standards. Hill can solicit bribes but Trump can't raise money. Give credit to this era's brown shirts. The golf course hero and his fellow puppets have accomplished much.
