Great Performance While on the Ropes

Reviews of the second debate are coming in and it appears Donald Trump delivered the performance the base would love and put Hillary Clinton on the defensive while diverting attention from Billy Bush and the locker room talk in a bus eleven years ago.
The headlong attack on Bill Clinton was tough stuff and the "you''d be in jail" line was blunt, but Donald Trump delivered his best ever performance and under tremendous pressure..
He's still likely to be behind in polling but after 48 hours of Nervous Nellie from the GOP, he is there for the duration and showed an ability to stand his ground.

I would guess Billy has an appropriate surname, as he was having a conversation about grabbing a certain area on a woman.

No votes will change,Trump is a national Disgrace and an international embarrassment.

Great. His base ate it up, but he didn't get any converts to his side. So she still wins in November.

Daily mail ...a credible source 😝😝😝😝😝😝$

Appealed to the base, that's about the extent. Those are the voters who woukd vote for him come hell or high water.
He's not going to bring in more voters with his parading of Clinton's exploitations against a woman that was
exploited herself.

His towering over her gave him a bully like appearance. No woman in her right mind would vote for this guy.

"Trump wins debate." - Jeff Graham

Were we watching the same debate? He has absolutely no clue what he is talking about. The only cognitive thought he could put together was threatening to jail his opponent. The rest of it was babble. He sounded like a high school flunky who didn't read the book he was reporting on. Trump is a disgrace to my party and to American politics.

Hillary Clinton is a sociopath. Trump nor anyone for that matter can rattle her. By definition, she has no conscience.

I think Trump was smart to mention Hillary going to jail. But he should have implied he would be hands off in that process and that it would be a court that sent her to jail. He should have said something about getting Obama to pardon her now, if they are really such good friends, because he wouldn't pardon her when he is president.

Trump did not go far enough to let people know what terrible character Hillary has to be trusted being our leader.
She should point that "he is not fit to be President" line toward herself. Her background includes unsolved crimes, using high public office to make money for herself and Bil, bungling leadership positions that caused deaths, NOT solving conflicts (then telling us that she did), hiding personal wealth in owned charitable organizations then outright lying to people about all this when she is in public by criticizing here opponents "behavior" as her main campaign issue.
To look at the "issues" she advocates, one would think them absurd. Like we can AFFORD a four year college degree for anyone who wants to go to college? She said she is against the TPP and now indicates she is for it by saying that trad between all countries is good? She said she will raise the "income" of lower classes while taxing the rich but leaves it there without explanation of HOW she will do this.
This is a BAD candidate that the democrats should have excluded from even being present in their convention. At least they should have banned Bill from it from the BEHAVIOR he was impeached for as president. Instead, like fools, they raise bad people to pinnacles of power.

Towering over her? He didn't have much choice but to "tower" over her,as she had to go sit her ass down every two minutes after answering her question.Every time.

Add another to the list of careers ruined by Trump, Billy Bush, who let his eagerness to be in the space of a rich, narcisstic jerk overcome any ounce of decency and common sense he ever had.

I noticed Trump stood as much as possible. This was to show he could. She had to sit a couple of times, it was noticed. He showed he can do the job. Her, not so much.

9:20, Trump would never say hands off because he takes credit for everything. Listen to his speech pattern, "I" and "me" dominate.

10:27, she didn't need to sit down, she gave him the floor during his speaking time. He, unfortunately, handled himself in his usual manner, attempting to intimidate by standing behind her glowering. She didn't flinch, good for her. The Donald had the debate mixed up with The Apprentice". He's not the top dog that everyone needs to bow to.

I respected Trump much more when he was on his reality show.

@ 8:52AM, you nailed it. That's what's wrong with this country right now. Many have no conscience.
