Donald Trump Tax Return, Hillary Clinton Audio Give Candidates Ammo « CBS New York

The more I hear the debate on this NYT hit piece, I think it points to Trump doing his job and dammit I'd expect Crowley and Halloran to do the same for me if there was such an opportunity to mitigate taxes.
I also wonder about the Times and its standards. Their reporter won't say who provided the forms and suggested there are more, meaning a drip, drip, drip of stories coordinated with the Clinton campaign.
Last Monday, Mrs. Clinton stressed the same themes and SNL did last night before the story appeared.
All the stops are being pulled out to make sure Mrs. Clinton wins.

It should be obvious its Obama pulling the strings from the IRS.. Trump suspected from the begining the IRS would leak pa[per as the campaign went along.. Normally this wouldnt be talked about because nothing illegal has happened, but the CNNS and NBCs are feasting on it and trying to keep Clintons own words about Bernies supporters.
Can anyone here say they pay more taxes than they have to..

I'm totally amazed at how many people have no concept about taxes. Just like the ones who think buffet's secretary pays 35.8% in taxes.
Then again, I'm also amazed when I look at all the people living paycheck to paycheck when they could easily be saving thousands of dollars a year.

I wonder if that Gawker lawsuit made the NYT's think twice about publishing this stolen tax return? It is common knowledge that Trump didn't want his tax returns disclosed to the public. It would be nice to see the senile gray lady pay out the winky for this crime they conspired in.

who wouldn't take advantage of the tax code if you can, anybody that says they would pay more are liars..

I never pegged you and all the Trumpists for such crybabies. People don't really care about his taxes and he won't win or lose on this story. All one has to do is watch him today imitating Hilary's fainting from a few weeks ago, and realize that this guy is just not presidential timber. Could anyone see Kennedy or Reagan or even Nixon for that matter, carrying on like this? With his constant mockings, insults and tweets, he is nothing but a circus sideshow. You give the media too much credit. And besides, who under 40 watches the news or reads a paper these days?

Being able to duck taxes because you're rich, when EVERYONE I know does, isn't right.
He didn't write the tax codes. He's only doing what others do. Blah blah blah.
trump's dirty Jeff. You know it. I know it and so do the voters.
The race is over. Hillary will win easily...

And then there are the boxes of completed 2016 ballots (voting for Dems of course) found in a warehouse in Ohio, and the cemetery registration drives the Dems are conducting around the countryside; all-in-all Trump is fighting some pretty steep odds.......

9:11, the election will be won or lost by a few percent. You don't know how many votes Trump loses because of this corrupt media circus sideshow and the corrupt Watergate style tax release. Quit pretending you do.

We just had 8 years of "presidential timber". Unless you count the occasional "special Olympics" comments or inviting a "comedian" to call him a n**** at the White house DNC media corespondent's dinner. Other than that, he played the part perfectly, better than Hollywood could dream of casting for the part. The results were and are abysmal.

Frankly the county has coarsened in the last 53 years, but you know that. However this cultural shift is partially due to an enlightenment. Society no longer needs to pretend that the president is not a human and doesn't engage in the things humans engage in. They don't need to pretend any longer or hold a man on a pedestal. They just want a smart capable man willing to take them in a more sensible direction. A direction where the country has borders and boundaries and laws that are enforced.

Well, well well, at yet another fundraiser aka 47% a tape portion was leaked of Hillary talking to the super rich bad mouthing her opponent Sanders and his army of volunteers.

She acknowledges that the generation of kids living in their parents basement of the great recession knows nothing different.

Sure they have their education but they and their families bought into lock stock and barrel of the great Presidency of Obama and the lies he has fed to the dumb American families.

But Dannie need not worry he needs to continue to ignore the bad commentary, just like Clair McCatskill. That woman, that woman has done more for women and children that negates all her negative historical actions towards Billy's bimbos.

As Susan Powers once said, 'She is a Monster'

Vince Foster was deputy White House counsel and Hillary’s friend and law partner who had connections to the Travelgate and Whitewater scandals. In 1993, Foster was found dead in a park with a fatal gunshot wound to his mouth. As WND reported, his suicide was the subject of much speculation and three official investigations.

Investigations by the U.S. Park Police, the Department of Justice, the FBI, Congress, Independent Counsel Robert B. Fiske and Independent Counsel Kenneth Starr concluded Foster’s death was a suicide. However, as WND reported in 2003, one of Starr’s key investigators challenged the official line, insisting the probe’s result was predetermined, only a few plotters were required to engineer the result, the crime scene was altered and that major newspaper editors killed stories by reporters pursuing the truth. The Washington Post reported that federal investigators were not allowed to enter Foster’s office after his death, but “White House aides enter[ed] Foster’s office shortly after his death, giving rise to speculation that files were removed from his office.”

In his 2005 book “The Truth about Hillary: What She Knew, When She Knew It, And How Far She’ll Go to Become President,” Edward Klein wrote of Hillary’s involvement in the effort to remove Foster’s files:

The night of [Foster’s] death, Hillary launched one of the most shameful – and illegal – cover-ups of her entire career.

She sent two of her most trusted White House loyalists – Maggie Williams, the First Lady’s chief of staff, and Patsy Thomasson, who was in charge of White House administration – into Foster’s office to retrieve embarrassing and incriminating documents related to Whitewater and Hillary’s other personal affairs. While White House Counsel Bernard Nussbaum barred investigators from entering Foster’s office, Maggie Williams, Patsy Thomasson, and Craig Livingston, Hillary’s director of White House security, removed armloads of files and loose-leaf binders.

11:11 Mikey is this you. I disagree with you, she is responsible for two more deplorable actions one representing a minority rapist and laughing after the fact when being interviewed after he got off about the poor 12 year old that she said instigated the rape.

The 2nd incident was when she was thrown off the Senatorial committee as a young lawyer with withholding evidence yet again on Nixon. I can't recall what Senator was head but he stated at the time he mentioned she should have lost her lisc. at the time.

Going to be be hot in hell when she winds up there. By the looks of it it will be sooner than later.

Genius. Good to beat the IRS. More breaks the better. Yeah, Donald, skin the IRS real good. Smart bookkeeping. et. etc. etc.

Okay, maybe to some degree since we all try to get and take every tax "break" we can muster... 98% of us however, don't have nearly $1 billion to write off as a loss; or have an army of tax lawyers to find every nook and cranny to get those write off and then, yes, comply with IRS law to sustained that loss for 18 years or so...!!!

It would be nice if we all could do that.

Now we hear the Trumpettes saying: "That's the way good business works."

Carry that out further: Trump would be responsible for tax policy and IRS implementation, etc. as president. Ergo: He has said and we all know that more GOP tax breaks for the top to trickle down, create jobs, and such would follow. Business gets write-off's, move profits off-shore as well as millions of jobs and have fits about losses saying they need more beaks. What could possibly be wrong with that, right?

Jesus Danny you have a thick skull.
The guy is worth 10 billion dollars. If he started with a million dollar loan (or $14 million according to your left wing lying lunatic side), he still made over $9 billion and way more than you did.

If he lost a billion one year, and is allowed to write it off in future years, then that means he already paid taxes on that billion the first time he made it, before he lost it.
What's the problem with that? You want him to pay taxes on it twice??? You want him not to be able to write off losses? It is called INCOME tax for a reason.

Danny M. Francis (Eyepublius) said...

5:05 - there is no concrete proof that Trump is worth $10 billion or any number close to that.

There is no proof, Dannie, that you are a party line clown. But I'll give good odds with anyone willing to take the bet, as it were.

Nice language 5:05. Surprised Jeff let that through.
