Both Assembly Hopefuls Up On Air

The local Assembly race is apparently going to be a race...I see TV spots for John Byrne invoking the name of Sheldon Silver, the deposed Speaker who is about as popular as chicken pox in NNY.
Meanwhile Democrat Addie Russell is running ads touting her efforts to preserve jobs.
Clearly the Republican Assembly Campaign Committee is all in for Byrne as there are so few places the Minority can compete.
John Byrne is running on corruption and getting our fair share...Addie Russell is running on fighting for jobs and speaking out against corruption, even to the point of dissing Andy's economic development efforts.
Obviously the incumbent is running a better campaign than last time, but the lingering stench of the Speaker could  produce votes for the challenger.
I am sure the candidates have polls, but the presence of extensive TV is always a sign somebody thinks it's worth spending money.

You are nuts. No one who votes for Addie knows who Sheldon Silver is or was.

That's the guy I want fighting corruption in Albany - the guy who puts Evan Williams in a Jameson bottle and sells it for $8 a shot. Yeah, he knows corruption when he sees it.

I give the maid lots of credit for concentrating on corruption. But wait, wasn't she working most of those nights while in Albany?

I saw an Addie ad where she broke out the middle name. Vote for Addie Jenne Russell, that can't be good...
