WDT: Absentee votes to decide Republican nominee for Assembly race

Follow up thoughts on a close primary. John Byrne is on three me-too lines regardless. What are his intentions ?  What are his options ?
Who would the Dems want to win the GOP primary ? In a way, Sheridan as the lines are split, but in a way Byrne, as they have beat him before and have significant opposition research locked and loaded.
Does a GOP primary winner with 41% in very light turnout have any momentum ?
Also I noticed that VanArnum fellow won in Morristown despite the efforts by the DA's office to dust him up. Guess voters there feel differently and that should count for something.
Oh, what is the effect of the Presidential race ?  I see Mr. Byrne was wearing a Trump tie at the TV debate, but Mr. Sheridan may be like most local, established GOP in that he is reluctant to be tied to the basket of deplorables supporting Mr. Trump.

Oh my, I threw my vote away on the third place guy. If I had known it was only competitive between the other two I would have voted against Byrne instead. Maybe I will just vote for Addie. Whats the harm? Byrne agrees with her on most of the issues. Might as well have someone in there that gets to caucus with the party in power so she can bring us back some pork. She doesn't clean those offices for Shelly for nothing, she expects something for her district in return.

BTW...I told you that Byrne wasn't the favorite. Even after ALMOST winning last time, and brown nosing the third party line, he still has trouble in the primary. Pathetic.

The only opposition research anyone needs on Addie the Maid is her record. Sheridan's ad about her voting with NYC all the time is on the money.

Byrne campaigns for 3 years, Sheridan for 3 months and Sheridan wins on primary night... what does that tell ya?

8:40, if you think there's no difference between Byrne and Shelly's Maid, you need to get a good meal somewhere.

I wonder if the third party conservatives are happy with their dumbass leader for picking a two time loser who is no more conservative than Addie.

All you need to know about Byrne is that he lost his own home town Cape Vincent, which is majority republican last time against Addie. According to Times he narrowly defeated Sheridan in Cape Vincent. Normally people win there own town with 8 out of 10 votes. The people who know him best, do not like him or trust him. He is a FORMER town councilman because if he'd have ran for re-election he'd have gotten crushed.
