Follow up thoughts on a close primary. John Byrne is on three me-too lines regardless. What are his intentions ? What are his options ?
Who would the Dems want to win the GOP primary ? In a way, Sheridan as the lines are split, but in a way Byrne, as they have beat him before and have significant opposition research locked and loaded.
Does a GOP primary winner with 41% in very light turnout have any momentum ?
Also I noticed that VanArnum fellow won in Morristown despite the efforts by the DA's office to dust him up. Guess voters there feel differently and that should count for something.
Oh, what is the effect of the Presidential race ? I see Mr. Byrne was wearing a Trump tie at the TV debate, but Mr. Sheridan may be like most local, established GOP in that he is reluctant to be tied to the basket of deplorables supporting Mr. Trump.
