Top attorney predicts Skelos and Silver won’t serve time | New York Post

It is quite possible Albany's poster children for corruption will not do actual time and may have felony counts vacated. That's the opinion of prominent NYC lawyer Barry Slotnick who believes the SCOTUS ruling on a case involving the VA governor may help Sheldon Silver and Dean Skelos.
Of course their political careers are over but they needed to think about retirement anyway.

They won't serve a day because it is democrat appointed judges who will make the ruling.

The VA governor case has very little similarity to these two cases. And for those actually paying attention, instead of playing partisan politics, the Court left the VA governor case open for a retrial.
