Syracuse is negotiating for new naming rights deal on Carrier Dome (report) | syracuse.com

The Carrier Dome may be something else as Syracuse officials attempt to negotiate a new agreement on naming rights.
Is Carrier still in Syracuse ?  Beats me, but I wouldn't blame them if they bailed. I don't know who else is going to shell out millions.
Whatever happened to the naming rights for the Watertown Fairgrounds Arena ?

not amused. this arena has been a major disappointment. the public didn't want it, the council didn't want it but was pressured into voting for it. and now we are stuck believing someone wants to put their name on it so we can recoup some dollars rather than actually book it. mr. butler has a major undertaking here salvaging this project. i have faith he can get it done.

Only a university basketball program can get away with reneging.

The Arena is a example of mismanagement if you ask me. I was told that booking s are down 40% because of the new fee structure. Loosing Bravo and the Home Show is a disaster. The fair had almost no vendors in there and the concession is a joke. All that money and no return on the investment. Someone should be held responsible for this failure. It may be high time to get rid on the CM's drinking buddy and get a real event coordinator in there. The K-Rock center is run by an actual management company. Once again, it is also a real facility. What a disaster.
