Remembering

Before we get into football and other Sunday pursuits take time to remember what happened as I post this fifteen years ago.
Who doesn't remember where they were or how they felt as the 9/11 attacks were underway. From disbelief to sadness tinged with anxiety and fear, Americans were one for a time.
Life has moved on, as it does , but this is a moment all of us will never forget.

Amen Jeff. Thanks for reminding me why this country is so great. We may pause, but we never give up. :D

I read the governments version of what happened and I read the conspiracy theories galore and reach my own conclussion..
Our government knew these people were attempting something as far in advance as a year.. I think Isreal played a big part based on fact.. I think Saudi Arabia played a larger part.. I think greedy people in our government played a key role and are as guilty as sin..
The Bush family played a very key role with the BinLaden family..
I think Larry Silverstein was guilty of getting advance notice and having the towers prepared in advance for blowing up. I think key figures in our government used their influence to let key figures in the event get off and used t5his event to eventually go to war and enrich certain people..
If you dont believe thats OK.. If you want to read about this its available on the net..

I'm glad that its not still so vividly etched in my mind. Of course the fact and logic side of my brain will never forget, but fortunately for me, my emotional memories have faded and I can once again enjoy a crisp blue sky sptember day and not immediately be reminded of September 11th.

Dannie/D:<<^, as you continue to put party before nation, remember, we won't be great that much longer. YOU might be, but the country won't be. Priorities.

9/11 was three times worse than the Pearl Harbor attack. Innocent people from 75 countries were killed that day. Shame on those people who criticized President Bush for chasing the murderers into Afghanistan. After the Pearl Harbor attack we went from island to island and then dropped two atomic bombs on two civilian cities ending the war in the Pacific. Then we went to war with the Germans who never fired a shot at us! We should still be chasing down the 9/11 criminals.

This just in: Hillary leaves 9/11 Ceremony early because she is feeling ill. Well she's just someone I would vote for(sarc). If asked a question she doesn't want to answer, she'll just say "I can't recall". And when she feels uncomfortable in a situation, she'll feign illness.

You know who doesn't remember? All the idiots letting more muslims in my country.

11:43, its not that those idiots don't remember 9/11, they just don't care. And the problem is not that they let Muslims into our country, the problem is that they take those Muslims from the most extreme countries and claim it is none of our business what they believe in, when making the decision on which ones to let in.
