Newzjunky.com Police Blotter:Pot in the Park- OMG !

High in Thompson Park....the highest point in the City....A Camden woman got nabbed for a joint at 1130 on a warm summer night....Of course just being there is a crime, so probable cause was easy.
I'll betcha in five years, this crime won't exist, so let's get all the collars we can now.

Not to worry...that librul female judge you appointed will just toss it out using the, "no probable cause because...um...because the sign isn't big enough. Oh wait, that DOT requrement is for convictions of violations, not for probable cause. Oh well, at least she be a women. Very progressive.

It's a good thing that curfew is protecting us from pot-heads!

What a load of crap. I can't go star-gazing in the park my taxes pay for, because of some reefer smoking hippies? Guess what... they're puffing up there during the day, too. Lift that stupid curfew already.

Because he attended dear old Mizzou where they teach journalism students, just like everywhere in the US,to hate or at least dislike law enforcement.Fortunately a very few smart ones know when they are being led,and stick to reporting facts.

Foolish council! Taxpayers have a right to walk the park on a warm summer night if they like, Just because you have a few kids that want to raise
a ruckus up there you should not penalize us all for the actions of a few bad apples.Besides the police are suppose to be out and about doing their job .

I see you have a lot of turds and "Jake knew the rules" jerks, commenting on this topic Jeff.
As someone who rarely drinks and would not dream of drinking on Sunday morning, I still celebrate your new found freedom.
Anytime NY gives us back even a drop of freedom it a historical occasion worth celebrating.

11:28, you're stupid. Questioning procedures designed to raise revenue, questioning arrests by $75k officers of bubble gum thefts, illogical drinking laws, and roadblocks only the East German's could have supported, does not mean you are anti law enforcement. Use your head. It's about some policies, not law enforcement or the people in it.
