Watertown's Former Five-Term Mayor Offers His Take on Life in the North Country and Beyond
Excellent location - sounds like a good deal and excellent potential for something progressive... we shall see.
Its been on the market for weeks now.
If they were smart (and they anything but) they would publish any and all offers on local media and give 72 hours for anyone to make a better offer. They should do that, even if they get an offer for the full asking price. Look at what happened with the old Hospice building once it got some publicity. Of course, if the Hospice had listed with a better broker, they would have gotten the higher price much sooner.
Can't believe they turned down 100k from the lawn mower guy for vanduzee street,do they really think another well heeled buyer will magically appear?Remember he will have to prepare and build on that site from scratch, just how much money do they think they can squeeze out of him?A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush,as it were.
11:02, $100k won't even buy you the naming rights.
