JCC Hires Headhunter

Jefferson Community College is hiring a consultant/headhunter to seek out a new president. The decision was done with no public fuss.
Big Edication can do that but I remember when we had to hire a CM, two members wanted to just place an ad in the paper and it took some talking to get a majority to approve the hiring of John Krol as a screener/facilitator for a lot less that whatever JCC is paying.

Hopefully they dont use the same one you used to find our current city mismanager

Yes we certainly hope they don't use your technique. We don't want someone running JCC that cares about saving money on waste, like the city has. We want someone who knows that value of holding rape accusations internally and not getting the police involved. We want someone who recruits rapists as students. We want someone who builds unneeded dorms on campus so that rapes are more likely to take place. We want someone who builds a new learning center because before that there was no place to learn. Basically we want a blank check no bids contract spender in charge. But the one thing she was missing is she never gave an honorary degree to a terrorist group like BLM more than white lives.

Our CM - look at what we got? A former retired hack from the NSA who tries to run the city like the NSA???

Listen to Dannie, preaching to us about former retired hacks. It just don't get funnier than that, as it were.

The CM is doing a good job. She is addressing abuses that have gone on too long. That's called leadership, Dannie. Something that despite all your advanced training you failed miserably to pick up on.

8:44 AM is right on. Then they wonder why a useless degree costs so much. Although, the waste you mention was funded on the back of tax payers, many who have nothing to gain from it.

8:44 Where the hell are you from? Since when do you KNOW they recruited rapist to live in the dorm? Did we recruit from AA for our CM, P&R and Past Conf. to the CM? These people all end up being people and you cannot control what they do after they are hired no matter what their application says or you are told. The dorms were 90% full last year and pretty much the same this year. When you get teenage adults together with all their hormones flowing, and free you risk that problem. Just like in the state, where new positions have been formed to have State Police removed from daily activities and assigned just to some colleges to protect and work to help prosecute sex offenders if it occurs. At least they don't hide from a potential but educate about it. Watertown has a dog issue and bans dogs from public places. That will fix it.. Maybe a band-aide but how about holding people accountable and educating them about the safety of dogs/kids in public places. The college has grown and if you want it to diminish, then that's what would have happened if dorms were not built, learning center was not built and so on.. you have to keep with the times, and build with a PLAN, unlike what the City does and currently continues to do. Take your gripes to city council, thats where its happening most.
Maybe if Jeff G was still there, the city would be running successfully like the college.
