Hillary Verdict To Be Announced Wednesday Morning | WWNY TV 7

It's nice to know your lead story for Wednesday two days ahead of time. The main verdict story and the reaction and analysis sidebars should chew up a good five minutes of the 6PM news hole. That's the kind of day those in charge can take a long lunch.

Most people think he walks, but who knows.

If the SLC DA had any common sense she would have left this sit and let more evidence be found.. someone in that position must be able to explain to people the good and the bad of decisoons they make. It appears to me that she is ok with convicting a person that probably is innocent. This all so she could swill some champaign and with no consideration towards the family of this victim. Fitzpatrick was sent her to assist her and give her advice but instead became the lead attorney for the prosecution..
I only hope the next time this office is up for re--election special interest is given to the qualifications of the canidates and a background checvk done then read.... In the case of Mary Rain all the warnings were there but not heeded rather voters went out and voted party... Now they are paying for it, and boy are they going to pay later.

Your accusation that DA Rain is "OK" with convicting a person "that is probably is innocent" is way over the top - Hillary probably is guilty and very likely that Rain believes he did it. This is however not enough to convict - there is certainly a reasonable doubt. Your point that a responsible prosecutor would have sought more evidence before bringing a case resulting in an acquittal is however appropriate , and DA Rain was unethical in promising a prosecution as part of a political campaign as well as in withholding potentially exculpatory evidence.

I heard the verdict last week on every news channel. She won and Trump lost.
