WDT: Stefanik hears veterans complain of VA health care

On these veterans health care issues, I like what Trump is saying about allowing patients to get care on the private market and not be tied to VA hospitals. There are too many people for whom the present system is too remote and inadequate.

Of course, no one is allowed to say the Trump proposal is a good one, but it is.

That is the difference approaches you get between a problems solver (like Trump is) and a problem creator (like Hillary is).

I believe Loophole McPain proposed this a couple of years ago. As much as I dislike John McCain, it is a good idea.

agreed, under the current administration, they have just created more red tape, which kills the ill vets looking for treatment.

She cab lesson all day long, but in the end she is not in position to change anything inside the VA.

This round table is nothing but a feel good band aid for her and the complaining vets, who got a chance to vent their frustration.

This proposal is not new nor innovative ... it has been floating around awhile now and is a very good idea ... the Feds should move on it ... let the Vets choose based on their circumstances ...

This is NOT a Trump innovative idea nor Stefanik's either. Let's stick to the facts, shall we as hard as that is.

As long as Dannie's care remains free, I'm for it. Dan, I'm with you on this one. Those stories about vets dying for lack of care, delays for treatment, and mistakes in care...all that is baloney. The system is great just like it is. And when those screw up administrators falsified their records and still received bonuses? That was all a lie to. It couldn't have happened, as Obama loves the military and has people like you to sing any song he wishes.

Danny is in favor of partially privatizing the VA !!!
Danny, how is that different than partially privatizing SS ???

12:58 - F**k you ... I get nothing free you sick SOB.

I don't use the VA - the clinic at Drum and we pay for health care monthly -- Tricare and Medicare out of my retirement.

Jeff: I ask you again to block this poster who keeps insulting and slandering me.

7:24 I am not and never have been in favor of the VA being privatized - never. You too are flat out wrong.

There's a new VA hospital emerging right on Washington street. It's called samaritan. They are hiring military doctors, their spouses, and double dipping retirees like mad. It's becoming a subpar medical center similar to the VA's we see in this country. Long gone are the Johns Hopkins, Cornell, Georgetown educated physicians. Head to syracuse while you have a chance!

Danny I clearly said PARTIALLY ! That is what this topic is about! Allowing VA patients to use Private the market! Get a grip man. Normally your side would be against this tooth and nail. You would say you can't trust people to make their own decisions like that. That's what you say when it comes to letting them invest their own SS in a private retirement account. Even though on average it would pay WAAAAAAAAAY more than SS does.

Oh and one more thing. ANYBODY who has to pay for their health care (all of it or a portion of it) since Dumbocare went into effect is in just about the same boat as the vets, so the vets shouldn't feel alone
