U.S. Chamber of Commerce endorses Stefanik |Post Star

When you are the incumbent, everybody loves you....NYSUT endorses...so does the Chamber of Commerce...What these backings tell this humble observer is that the pros consider this race over. I do too.

If you read these pieces the event was held at a big time road contractor on the East Side of the district. A major Repub. supporter.

This is why the union last week would not endorse the Dem. candidate, they need Elise Stefanik to bring home the bacon from the Trans. bill to start rebuilding the infrastructure. That means union jobs.

It's been over even before the Dems. decided not to allow a primary. They could have at least ran an alternate candidate to run in a primary against this lackluster Dem. candidate.

You snooze, you loose. The seat is safe GOP as long as Stefanik wishes to remain a MOC and then some. She will be working the county chairs as to who her successor will be. It sure ain't going to be Mary Doheny.

Who cares what the pros think? We are right as often as they are. We knew this race was over back when she won her first primary. Owens knew it before then and quit rather than suffer a humiliating loss.

But the other story is that this woman likes to straddle the political line between democrat...and far left democrat. If she were a fiscal conservative at all, the unions wouldn't endorse her and neither would the Chamber of Comrades. Why doesn't she just switch parties and get it over with?

Nothing new with that endorsement ... the PR-PAC-high roller machine is in high gear heading for November with over $2 mill already raised, and apparently still counting. That in and of itself has to be a historical record for a freshman in the House for this area, right?

11:53 Danny are you losing brain cells or mental faculty failures, hate to have to remind you, your fellow Donkey herd member Senator Kirsten Gillibrand broke all records. It all started with oops maybe the NYS Troopers arrest records were hacked by the Russians that there was a a call for domestic violence. Seems like the Mrs. was dead drunk and she got into a verbal and physical altercation with the Congressman.

Anywho, mysteriously they were leaked to the press. Gillibrand's response....'I have no idea how they got there' Dummm De Dumm Do.

Privacy..... sure there is privacy.

Your Little Money pack high roller machine Kirsten ain't such a Mistress Mary.

Derrick is Aaron Woolf in a uniform. But without the money to self finance. No idea why he's running so just mouthing national campaign planks and talking points, just like Woolf. And Funicielo will pull bigger than last time, making it worse for Derrick, as many Sanders supporters will vote Green. No real races in the North Country this year except the successor to Assemblywoman Duprey and that's headed for Billy Jones, who incidentally will eliminate Addie Russell's status as the lone Dem State Legislator up here. Jones is liked, collaborative, supported by the Assembly leadership and by business. Albany will then ignore Ms. Russell more than they already do as Jones will become their favored North Country Assembly member. Something to watch.

I feel the need!
