Through Sleet and Snow and Dark of Night

Getting the mail probably isn't a big deal to those currently looking for Pokeman figures, but for a lot of us the visit by the letter carrier is a part of the day...
For years Rick Loonan was our mailman. He lived in the neighborhood and is a great guy.....You could chat with him and feel connected.
Most days now we have a fetching blonde named Bobbie who brings the mail . Sometimes its someone else. Either way its good to see them.
Today's mail  included some junk and a wedding invitation in a form I'd never seen before. A post card with "save the date" on it.  No embossed card with the sheet of tissue paper inside. I got a Stefanik bumper sticker too along with a computer generated thank you letter for my donation for this year.
The US Mail is a great equalizer in our society and I don't care if it loses money...For fifty cents any American can send a missive to anywhere in the country.
That personal expression is no longer part of it all is only a loss to those living in the way things were. Those kind of people won't be around too long anyway.

I kinda feel sorry for our postal service. They are charged with delivering messages for a populous that is now too dumb to even write their own names. Vote Donkey, and keep a close eye on your cell phone while mindlessly wondering what is being injected into a Kardasssssian ass, per se.

And a populous(adverb) that is too stupid to use the noun populace!

Weak, 12:18. Stupid is as stupid does.

First class stamp went down to .47 cents in January.

1:43, far be it for me to try on your pompous pedant pants,
but I wonder if 10:28 is too stupid to notice that you are too stupid, to properly categorized "populous" as an adjective, rather than and adverb.

Look it up,8:08,adverb as used..to get back to the point,it should have been populace.

8:23, I don't need to look it up. I know that "populous" describes a noun and is therefore an adjective.
What the hell are you referring to when you say, "as used"? 10:28 used it as the noun he confused it for, and when you repeated his malapropism in an effort to be critical of 10:28's mistake, you also used it as the noun he confused it for. But in the process, you let us all know that you realized it was really an "adverb", (which it is not). Your mistake is of equal caliber to 10:28's...nay...it is more egregious, because you grammar Nazis should know that the adverb form is populously and you should hold yourself to the same standard that you try to hold others too.
