The decision on the North Side League to sell it and create a scholarship fund seems solid although those who had been hoping for a Boys and Girls Club of America there still say privately they are hopeful minds will change.
Those close to the issue say the Mill Street property could approach seven figures in commercial value and should net the half million dollar asking price.
The property is now listed with a well known local realtor.
So if it indeed sells as some advocate, it could host a commercial enterprise that produces tax revenue.
Positive results are possible from either course of action, but whatever happens, do it quickly as another winter unheated can't do the building any good.
