As Trump sinks, will he pull Stefanik down, too? | poststar.com

Wishful thinking at the Post Star, endorsers last time of the Green candidate. As much as the Stefanik haters think she is "linked" to Donald Trump, the fact is her support has been perfunctory to the point some Republicans were upset. It will not cost her a seat, as first you have to have a viable alternative.
The Democrat has opened offices but he is still a guy who two years ago was a Republican living in Colorado. Michael Derrick is not challenging the incumbent and Trump will probably carry or at least pull even in NY21 anyway.
As for down ballot woes....The GOP won the NNY seat in the 1964 LBJ landslide, and that was way worse than whatever Trump suffers in NY.

It's too bad the Derrick guy doesn't have the war chest and PAC monies that Elise has. He might stand a chance. Regardless, I'm definitely not voting for Stefanik. She has been a huge let down.

you neglected to mention the most important factor in this race of all: funiciello. in a lean-gop district, dividing the left practically guarantees a stefanik victory.

I will be voting for Trump and the Baker.

Stefanik should go down , she has done nothing at all for the working middle class. She has only served her out of state PAC masters . Her record is abysmal and she is the establishment and part of the WORST Congressin decades .

She is ALL PR puff piece and no substance , no gravitas and ZERO accomplishments of note for those of us who are not miltary industrial FATCATS who fund her . PEoplewould be well served to elect someone else because she and her do NOTHING cohorts will lose control of both houses of the DO NOTHING CONGRESS of the past two years . Thinking people have had enough of The do nothing members of Congress .

Tsk, tsk, you whiny crybaby little boys.

I voted for her last time and she has been the best thing this district has seen in many many years.

She will most likely smash the record this time out.

Way to go Harvard!

Another one bites the dust. He will realize how he was used and abused by those lying Demtards. A place holder but he bought into lock stock and barrel.

I wish I may I wish I might wish Wikki Leaks will leak the negatives on this clown as they did on their schmuck of two candidates vying for a Democratic primary winner in a Congressional race down in Florida.

Maybe Teddy or Junie will take his call the day after. I hear that old Hag Nag Pelosi's #'s were hacked, maybe he can send her a nasty obscene text!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stefanik is a democrat with an R next to her name. She is proof that golf course heroes wherever, only care about party and not position.

@3:46 PM

Exactly she has done nothing for the people in NY 21 and I want to add don't forget the DARK act she voted for.
She was groomed from the start as a D.C. politician and that started early on with Harvard.
NY 21 is just stepping stone for her. She was planted here for big money and outside interests, so she could be a reliable voter for the likes of Boehner and now Ryan. I am not impressed that she was in Harvard. Actually for this reason she should be a way better speaker , should be more eloquent and should have more political substance.
In TV discussions two years ago, she did not look god against eloquent and informed Matt Funciello. She offered mainly empty talking points and the same old tired phrases. She said she will bring new ideas to NY 21. Till off now I am still waiting for her new ideas.
Even the proposed missile side is only money for outside interests and military contractors. I guess they already financing her campaign 2016.
When every thing is said and done there will be maybe 50 t 0 100 jobs, in the long run. That was the average for American missile sides in Europe. so far I know. Meanwhile we are sitting ducks in this area in case of an enemy attack.
In the meantime Fort Drum will further downsize as it already did from around 19.000 Soldiers to 15.000 Soldiers. This is why all these empty apartments and houses on Fort Drum are offered to everybody now.
I wonder anyway, who is financing all this adds on TV, and what this background powers are paying to get the people here manipulated.
Matt Funciello got it right again , when he called the missile side a ridiculous idea and said that it will further shorten "boots on the ground" in Fort Drum.

Matt Funciello for Congress 2016

12:25 Please, go back to watching your dough rise. The baker should be more concerned about your lack of work ethics during the time you are on the clock.

Maybe if you were more productive the Baker could pay you more so that you could pay for your own health insurance.
