ARCC planning NY21 debate | All Politics is Local with Maury Thompson | poststar.com

If it isn't broadcast live throughout the district it's a waste of time.  There is precious little time for candidates to actually be seen by the people, so a forum out in East Jesus with a hundred people may be well intentioned but accomplishes little.

Now if I was the incumbent and overwhelmingly favored, I'd want the event in East Jesus.

Dumb. Effective chambers know they are advocacy organizations. Not a League of Women Voters. Doing this tends to neutralize them when savvy chambers are figuring out how to build relationships.

If you were the incumbent? You could be if you wanted to be.

If I were the incumbent I would refuse to debate them. Just issue the statement that they are not serious candidates. At the very most, I would agree to debate the dummycrat and leave the commie baker on the sidelines where his party belongs.

I don't put a lot of stock into polls, look when bill Clinton came to watertown, and Donald trump.I went past the clinton rally,it looked like there were less than a hundred people there. To see an ex president of the US.Meanwhile, trump had thousands show up at an airplane hangar.I think many people are feeling the same way and the Clintons may just end up being shown the door.

trump is already finished 8.13 You hang your hopes on the events held in Watertown? A city of 25000 +/- but ignore all the polls showing Hilda easily winning? Don't let that door hit ya... Lol.

11:08, You hang your hopes on polling that samples 1250 people by phone and cell phone. Trump and Hillary drew people from three counties and represents a poll of over 300,000 people. More importantly it represents voter enthusiasm.
