Watertown's Former Five-Term Mayor Offers His Take on Life in the North Country and Beyond
I never thought I'd see the day where a egomaniac puke of a governor would be wetting his panties over nuclear power. Sometimes facts just get the best of you, no matter how much golf you play, as it were. But we still hate wind, at least around here.
The modern democrats, who are the true bedfellows of Wall Street, ruined our electricity industry years ago. Democrats continue to further ruin our electricity industry, with their subsidized windmills, solar panels and other intermittent electric generators. But along with doubling or quadrupling our rates, solar has taken many "base load" generators and "demand load" generators out of service. We need nuclear plants, unless you want to only run your lights and AC when the sun is shining or the wind is blowing.
Hey at least somebody does...
Always happy to shell out more money to big business. Lord knows they need it, especially if they're a business in the Empire State.
Give Benito credit. After initially antagonizing the nuke company, he realized the fat and happy schools and towns around the plant had to have their cash cow. So in comes Benito, taking money from everybody to bribe the company into staying. Meanwhile the towns and schools get fatter. Everybody is happy, per se.
