Geeze Jeff, Thanks for inserting a lighter posting.

How on earth is Cuomo going to spend our dollars for Start up NY with millions to get any of these chains to come and do business in upstate NY? Who would want to with all the regulations he has passed onto the business owners.

Let's ask dear ole Addie how we can afford her increase in minimum wage and not have it passed thru on doing business in NY. Does she wish to be in a drive through window passing out meals to keep costs down?

Can someone with influence get Channel 7 to do something about their weather forcasts? Please, let's make this a non partisan effort. Dannie, come aboard. Nuts of all types, you be welcome. If I hear that Kubis fool stand in front of various size maps and read the numbers off it I will go more nuts than I am already. Tonight he had four different sized maps. A national, a state, one Jefferson County version and another to the north. Each had anywhere from 8-10 temperatures listed. The guy proceeded to read the damn numbers off each, walking back and forth and telling us an eighty six was, believe it, an 96. Other parts of his report showed the same consistency. In Dallas, a one hundred degree reading resulted in "and down here in Dallas it was 100". I can't believe this guy. Are the people directing this "news" completely brain dead. Scotty Atkinson must have had problems with numbers in school, and now he's excited. Tomorrow, if I watch, I expect eighty nine degrees to result "it's 89 in wherever". These guys really work hard.

I'd love to see Benny's Steakhouse, Anne's Stand and Giovanni's magically reappear and about 6 or 7 of the crummy cookie-cutter 'restaurants' disappear. To hell with yet another fast food joint...

Don't worry, Dan/D:. Your lifestyle is safe. The kids are so busy looking at their ipods they won't even notice they are mailing their future to you.

channel 7 weatherman is hard to watch. He reads the temperatures that are on the screen. He says (community) "chimes in" with their temperatures. Apparently he assumes we can't see our screens. Chime in to a Syracuse station to see a real weatherman. OMG. What a difference. Wayne Mahar knows weather and forecasting. He's not just chiming in with numbers. Our guy is just filling in the time....perhaps 7 management should "chime in" to Syracuse news to get some fresh ideas-----7 is stale and molding. We'll address the anchors another time but for now just say her stare is scary.
