Your Town: Oswego recognized as only City to offer refuge for Jews fleeing Nazi Germany | WSTM

Amidst all the talk of refugees these days, this is an interesting account of the City of Oswego hosting nearly one thousand (mostly Jewish) refugees from Hitler's Holocaust in 1944.  Oswego is recognized as the only US to do so in a time when the behind the scenes horror of the war in Europe was not front and center among policy makers.
The Safe Haven Museum is the place to learn more about the kindness shown just down the road.

FDR was like most democrats in that he didn't like Jews. Plus they were not guaranteed democrat votes back then, so he wasn't about to import any on his own volition.

Now, with the crapheads we have running the Democrat party, we import people who have no intentions of becoming Americans. But they do vote like a dannie. Such dishonesty makes them perfect Donkey types, per se.
