Post Standard: Only Nine Jobs in CNY from StartUp NY

The Post Standard says only nine new jobs resulted from the StartUp NY program in Central NY. It will be interesting to see what activity happened on North Country SUNY campuses, including JCC.
The much touted and advertised program has produced meager results and the Second Floor chose to post the results for 2015 on the Friday leading into a holiday weekend.
Many news organizations may not get to looking at it all for days, and there will be little public interest on the July 4th holiday.
A recent WDT story did show the disdain JCC officials have for it all.
Remember all those TV commercials touting the tax free zones ?
That it's a flop will have no political consequence. but it is interesting to read http://www.syracuse.com/news/index.ssf/2016/07/slow-growing_start-up_ny_program_yields_9_jobs_in_cny_408_statewide.html#incart_river_home

But keeping with tradition, you can't ask Addie about it, just like you can't ask Elsie any issue questions...

Isn't this a state initiative? Why would we want to ask Elise about any of this? The story is wrong. Many jobs were created by Benito's bs. Trouble is, they were state jobs for the chosen people, not the working class that remains out of the governor's loop. He's a stooge, a criminal, and stands for nothing. When he trots out stuff like this, we get all excited. You should, if you are a government employee. I'll bet this program even came with a few free cars.

Addie was at a ribbon cutting today in Theresa, NY so there were 3 jobs created in Brown's store..

4:34, there used to be more than three working in that building before NYS ran it out of businesses and there used to be more than three working across the street before NYS ran them out of business too.

I know, I know...if they couldn't afford to pay those outrageous Obamacare rates, 3x's the normal electric rate and property taxes up the wazoo, they didn't deserve to be in business.
