Other Upstate Cities Try to Deal With Crazy Quilt Rate Systems

   Utility officials in Auburn last year were struggling to deal with rate disparities Watertown largely resolved years ago. Deals years ago left outside users paying about one half of what in city users were paying for sewage. This is likely the result of years of flat percentage increases again a rate structure that treated districts as industrial users with big volume discounts.

Come to Theresa NY where a 80 year old women pays the same as a family of 10 for sewer, housing is cheap, nothing here though, thanks to Tim Tanner..
