NY Post: NY Dead Last in Economic Freedom

The petty micromanaging and over legislating of business. Let me give an example. For over 20 years I have had carpet  on the front side of the bar and counters. Many places do use carpet on walls for texture and sound deadening.
Suddenly state agents declare this year that's a no go because it's not a cleanable surface. I'll replace it with paneling today at my expense, as it's not worth the argument.
My industry has a lot of dumb regulations and taxes. Others have more, others less, but it all contributes to the notion presented in a study reported on in the Post.
New York ranks last in economic freedom.

Why do they put the word "economic" in there? Is there some type of freedom that we don't rank last in?

Mr. Mayor, You didn't build that.......We can't even take a pi## without the left telling us which room we are permitted to use. Without the consent and advice and constant aid of the salaried puppets, State employees at our tax expense will monitor us till we die.

We are almost, almost I say living in a police state. Obo is waiting for the crisis to install marshall law.

Sickening.

But this is what our Democrat party stands for. This is what you voted for, however indirectly. Don't complain. 7:55/7:58/8:27 are on it. But we did this to ourselves over the years. We pretend to care about our kids, but care about ourselves. Freestuff rules, from the golf course to our growing slums.

I'm not sure we have such a lack of economic freedom. Some have fine levels of financial freedom. Take Dannie of the Golf Course as an example. He doesn't pay the property taxes you and a I do as he is a victim of military service and we owe him, or something like that. You struggle to pay for health care. Not our buddy. All free forever. Prices high? Forgetaboutit, the PX takes care of your, excuse me, his needs. You worry about politics and the future. Not our hero. He has a coke can with a string attached connected to he beloved party. No thought necessary, and with his forever financial base, it doesn't matter if your kid will face a $19Trillion dollar debt the minute they are born. He be safe from all that baloney. Nah, some of us are very well insulated from economic hardships. And these folks are the ones, in NY anyway, that make economic decisions for you. It's a funny world. And when we continue this stupidity on a national level, your kids won't even have a place to run to. Priceless. Makes me want to sacrifice everything and become a teacher. That way I can live in the most expensive house in watertown and cry victimhood at the same time.
