Ford: I'm Inclined to Vote for Jill Stein.

Local coverage of the DNC is less than for the RNC, although the Philadelphia gathering is in many ways more interesting. There must not be any delegates from up here to follow.
NNY Democrats supported Senator Bernie Sanders, and the two go-to people for media are Ron Cole and Cody Horbacz.
       Where's Mike Schell ?
I know were Ted Ford is and he told me this morning his inclination is to vote for Green Party candidate Jill Stein.
Ted says he wants to shake up the party and advance the viewpoints of Senators Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders. He says Hillary Clinton is too conventional in funding and ideology.
(I could translate that for you, but don't want Ted to get a late night visit from party jack boots.)
I listen to Ted not just as a friend but as someone who puts a lot of thought into his politics.
Two years ago he voiced support for Zephyr Teachout in the gubernatorial primary against Andrew Cuomo and because he had been a party activist a call came from the Second Floor to the local party chair.
Of course in NY, straying has fewer consequences than in Ohio or Florida, but the point is not everyone is content to acquiesce to the conventional and shopworn orthodoxy that prevailed in one party this year.

Ted is not alone in putting a lot of thought into his politics. I am sure Bush put a lot of thought into his Iraq invasion too. Danny puts a lot of thought into his party line talking points too. Just like your motor scooter, all those organic computing machines referenced above, are notoriously underpowered.

Ted is a good guy. Politically nuts, but a good man to have in the boat. If you take him on your cruise, you can enjoy his company and the wind keeps you from having to listen to his politics. It's a win-win situation. I hate that cliché.

WHAT is this preoccupation with this Teachout chick?! Would you just call her up and ask her out already? This has been the longest cyber romance have ever read!

I do not and have never walked or talked the party line unless I supported that line. When I did not, I speak out. That's why I am a DEM who never lock-steps. So, stop pretending you know me 9:35 - you do not.

The implementation of communism is always well thought out. It requires a couple of generations of indoctrination to get the "useful idiots" and unwashed masses to accept full government control over your life. It takes time and carful manipulation of the populace to wean them from independent thinking and living to becoming wards dependent upon the State for their livelihood and welfare. Be patient Ted. We are almost there. Your side is winning.

11:57, you have said this before, verbatim, dozens of times. The trouble is the record. No matter what the situation, on either a state or national level, you can be expected to spew, verbatim, whatever the Democrat party tells you to. You have never failed us. You look like a duck. You quack like a duck. You swim like a duck. Yet you deny being a duck. Dan, you're a duck, per se.
