Donald Trump's reluctant attack dog - POLITICO

Evidence is surfacing that Governor Mike Pence is not a mean spirited and boar like attack dog. Well, not place for a gentleman or manners in this campaign.

Pence might not be an attack dog. But Dannie's side of the isle will make up for it. I hear Pence beats his kids, rapes his grandmother, and stole Mother Theresa's statue at the Vatican. Per se.

A bit more Pence from this record - FYI:

1. Pence touts himself as "A Christian, a Conservative, and a Republican," and in that order. He has deep ties with both social and fiscal conservatives.
2. He served in the House (2001-2013).
3. He was the former Chairman of the conservative Republican Study Committee.
4. He originally challenged John Boehner to be GOP House minority leader.
5. He routinely voted against his party from the right while in the House, battling against: (1) "No Child Left Behind" and (2) GOP plan to expand "Medicare Rx for seniors."
6. He has a close connection to the Koch brothers (libertarian-leaning billionaires who also happen to be fierce Trump critics).
7. He has had a rocky time in office as governor with his embrace of a "Religious Freedom" law that drew strong national backlash from gay rights advocates and threats of a boycott from the NCAA and other major organizations.
8. Then he then sought to backtrack by signing changes to the law, leading to howls from social conservatives who said he was abandoning them out of political convenience.
9. He also drew severe rebukes for attempting to create a state-run, taxpayer-funded news outlet mocked by critics as "Pravda on the Plains." He then abandoned that plan out of embarrassment.
10. It's unclear how Pence's carefully scripted style that he, a former radio host has called himself the "Rush Limbaugh on Decaf" will mesh with Trump's freewheeling approach.

Stay tuned.

Pence is a wet noodle Jeff, you said so yourself. Or, as Trump would say behind his back.... a PUSSY!!

@ 10:51, no kidding, Pence stole Mother Theresa's statue at the Vatican? I find that hard to believe.

Yeah Dannie and you present yourself as an honest broker of political information. We can all claim anything we want.

Dan, I can't wait to read your review of Clintons vp. Being fair and balanced, it'll be a doozy. Probably the second coming of Christ.

Pence buckled when pressured by the ABCLGQT over gay rights. He's too soft. Poor choice!

Sen. Tim Kaine (VA) would be my best guess.
