Donald Trump reportedly asked Condoleezza Rice to be his VP

He tried for a big name who would have made the ticket sizzle but Condoleezza Rice apparently said no. The outreach is said to have come last weekend.  So among those willing to run with him. Mike Pence made the most sense.

Senators Rubio and Ernst were other good options but the Trump brand has been tarnished by the media and GOP establishment, no one dare take the chance.....

But as you look at the race now, Mr Trump is running even with a wobbly Hillary Clinton. With a good convention that number two spot may be worth something after all.

Donald Trump reportedly asked Condoleezza Rice to be his VP

Trump excels at picking good people, so there is no doubt this guy makes sense. But I was hoping for Christie. Christie is the man who gets sensible democrats to cross party lines, including women. But with the fictitious bridge gate the MSN dreamed up and tried to pin on Christie and the fact that Christie said he was going to enforce the drug laws that states like NY are blatantly flipping their middle fingers at, he would be open to some MSN lampooning that could hurt the ticket.

Condoleeza Rice, didn't want to bring down Colin Powell or waste any more tax dollars, being grilled over her and Powell's sending top secret emails on private servers. :D

Rice would have been a great choice. But let's be honest. The dannies and kipcruds would have hated her. Although she is and exciting color and has that vaginal thing going, there is little evidence that she is an Indian. She would be labeled a racist and anti gay or an environmental extremist or a hater of little children. This is all about two things. Party loyalty before all else, and the dumbing down of the American people. Half of us can't even identify George Washington. How can that bode well for a nation that faces debt problems and an increasingly dangerous world. Condoleezza would be a great choice, but we aren't smart enough to think through any of this. We are doomed. Hillary will be the Hitler of tomorrow. I know you hate to hear that stuff, Jeff, but it's true. There will be no limit to her power or her wealth.

I wish he would have picked Rice - then we could possibly have the #1 and #2 liars in cahoots in the Executive Branch ... both are top-notch in that arena, and both have records to prove it, too.

Did you really think a woman like Condi Rice would sully her integrity by associating with a cretin like Trump?

Anonymous said...

Rice has said many times that her career goal is to be Commissioner of the NFL and that she has no further political ambitions.

The most shameless liar ever in the Oval Office was Bill Clinton. Hillary seems to be his equal. I wonder if it is common for two sociopaths to marry?

You're an idiot, 9:24. Think (if that's possible) about email in 2001-2005 v. email in 2009-2013. The State Department's protocols for email were significantly and substantially much different in 2001-2005 than they were 2009-2013. If you had done some research, rather than put up a straw man argument (or lame attempt at humour) you'd find that Powell (or Rice, for that matter) never broke any rules.

Rice did her stint in public service and has moved on to continue her life as a private citizen. Which is as our Founding Fathers had envisioned. It is as it should be. She is to be commended for her decision, whatever her reasons for doing so might be.

7:03 It's not just rules that Hillary ignored, it was common sense duty-of-care protection of our national secrets. The way people treat computers today is similar to head injuries in football. Meaning that everyone became aware of the susceptibility in the last ten years, but before that only experts and victims knew of the dangers. Ironically Clinton became aware of head injury brain damage when she passed out in the tub, but still pretends not to know about wiping a hard drive "with a clothe"

We will have liar number one and liar number two if Hillary picks Bill as her vice president

I doubt Rice ever made it far in Trumps mind. Pence is the perfect pick. If you were casting the position for Hollywood or a novel, Pence would be the pick. He has the look. He has the name. He has the resume. He speaks well in public. He looks good standing next to Trump. Trump and Christie don't look good standing next to each other and that image played large in Trump's decision.

Keep in mind that Trump can assign any duty to anyone willing to take it, once he gets elected. If he wants Newt or Christie on his team, he can hire them.

619, does "No new taxes!" ring any bells? How about those imaginary Iraqi WMDs? Is it common for both father and son to be sociopathic liars? :D

You seem to have forgotten just how close the Bush and Clinton families are. A vote for Hillary is a vote returns to power the people you hate most.

Sorry 703, but I'm not buying it.

What were the State Department's protocols for email that was "significantly and substantially much different" (sic), between your two time frames? Precisely what changes were made?
Sadly, private servers were used used knowingly throughout the majority of G.W. Bush's presidency. Are you asserting Rice ignored any changes in the handling top secret documents?

Regardless, I tire of your many dubious claims.
I'm no clerk and definitely no one's research assistant.

So please, point me to the particular research that corroborates your statements. Like any good researcher, I'm sure you triangulated your data. I look forward to reading your sources. :D

703, Information security was becoming an issue in the late 80's and early 90's. My days in IT go back to ARPANET. That'd be before Al Gore "invented" the internet. :D

I'm afraid I must respectfully disagree with you.

The Bush's never endorsed Bill Clinton, 708. Don, on the other hand, did endorse Hillary. Either way, I don't hate any of the candidates. I don't care for any of them. They're all POS...

Anonymous said...

The Bushes didn't endorse Clinton, they adopted him.

Politicians are required to have separate email servers for campaign related activities. Previous administrations used them for that while Clinton used them for all her work to hide public record. Then lied about it and destroyed evidence and public records that are both felonies.
The thing that is just amazing is that there aren't people in the pentagon who would stop this incompetence. A ceo couldn't just walk into a company and pull their data center into his living room. It's almost as amazing as the lack of controls in place to prevent Bradley Manning from exporting data. Our government is full of incompetence yet if Target has their pos sytems attacked it's considered a "data breach" and they get bitch slapped by Obama and Schmuck Schumer.

Not true 1240.

PBS broke the story in 2007, of the Bush Jr. administrtion using private servers as far back as 2002. georgewbush.com comes to mind. Bush and his staff used private servers, specific email servers, to circumvent the law and avoid transparency.
Again, I respectfully disagree, until shown data that differs with findings.

Also, 703, I'm assuming later tonight or tomorrow you'll have shared some links to support your claims? Possibly some academic references.
You've piqued my interest. Please respond soon. :D

And here goes 1:51, attempting to rewrite history. But why not? The average Democrat voter isn't smart enough to remember his next Pokémon move. I suppose next you will tell us that Bush's boys erased 30,000 emails too. This kind of mindless obedience to party is what is killing this country. D:), it amazes me that you could have actually pretended to serve this country when you had no allegiance to it. Neat trick.

If you can't show the research that you alluded to in your post on the 16th, at 703, then my only conclusion can be that you are blind, partisan, LIAR.

Stop tap dancing around your implication that there is research that proves my standing wrong.
Until you can, your posts will remain irrelevant.

By the way, the Bush Jr. administration ADMITTED to "possibly losing" 5 MILLION emails after being exposed in 2007. Other sources caim upwards of 22 MILLION! Yet these security breaches were known by the White House in 2002.
So how many MILLIONS would you prefer?
No need to respond, as I assume you can't back your claim with any proof. :D

were is ur proof 852? do u have some or r u stallin? LOL

Anonymous said...

I think it's 1:51 who needs the proof. I searched the pbs site for georgewbush.com and didn't come up with anything relevant. But we can just keep repeating it and it will become true, right? After all, Bush lied and people died!

Anonymous said...

Dannie/6:56, I think you're right. But it wasn't the 5 million emails GW lost, it was 19Trillion emails lost. Oh wait, that's the amount of debt your muzlim piled up. I do give you credit for creativity on this one, as it were.

god u people r idiots... google this string

1st link comes up is 'missing white house emails' @pbs.org
ill be ur assistant anytime 656/:D

Stop dodging the initial question, son.

Where are your facts? What were the changes in the protocol, for handling top secret data, during Bush Jr.'s presidency?

Can you show your research, or not?
I'll expect it by tomorrow morning. If you do not provide the info, your claim is false. :D

You have had ample time to prove the allegations you initially made. You've stalled and attempted to change the subject, to no avail.
My conclusion stands. The nonsense you daily espouse on this blog has never been, nor will ever be relevant. You are a liar and a fraud.

Goodbye. :D
