Candidate's stance on pledge draws attack - Times Union

Among the dogma of politics is flag waving and a desire to recite the Pledge of Allegiance at every turn.  So when a State Senate candidate like Sara Niccoli of Palantine Bridge refuses to conform, well that's a social media bonanza for the GOP candidate, Senator George Amedore.

      The incumbent will likely win.

Those who do not like our pledge or like reciting it or feel its an infringement, should just leave and go to Canada or some other place. They have the right to not say it, but also have the right to work every holiday and not take the holiday pay for something they don't believe in. They can work Christmas, Easter, and any other holiday on the Religious calendar and just stay to themselves and not take a benefit they don't believe in.
Its our rights to enjoy the pledge, so just close your ears and shut up!!!!
Politicians alike.
