WWNY: Dog Used in City Fire Probe.

An accelerant is reportedly suspected in an overnite house fire on California Avenue that damaged two homes and a car. WWNY reports an arson dog was brought in and seemed to locate something.
Of course this is not the final finding, but the possibility of a set fire brings back memories of several unsolved fires last fall.
No one was hurt in this week's blaze.

Obviously another arson fire here in the COW. As you correctly point out, this fire is within a short distance of at least 4 other unsolved arsons. Does not look like a good time to be closing down fire stations and reducing strength. Just saying.

You got it all wrong, 9:14. This isn't a fire problem, it's a crime problem. It would make more sense to spend more money on police than than to keep feeding the firequeens.

9:14 no cause for alarm to open the city check book, just some nasty tenants who have a beef with the land lord and took it out on his property.

Talking about a dog. I was really put out by that dirt bag telling you he knows that the sign for the park is just coming down , and there are new plans. Who voted on that? People gave money in good faith to the plan that was already voted on. He better check himself. He has not been voted onto anything. If that's how it is going to work form now on, I want a new vote in November.

2:02 what kind of a comment is that. You obviously don't have any common sense. What are the police going to do put out the fire with there guns, try using some common sense. They have add a position to the police department in this s up coming budget year. I believe the city needs both the fire department and the police department they work together on many calls.

8:01, have you been stupid all your life or just today. No number of firequeens, be they captains, admirals, super squirrels, or hose experts, will be enough to put out the fires if an arsonist or two are on the loose. You have to incarcerate people like that. Just putting out the fire is not the answer. I realize your limitations but please try to think this through. You have time. You know, while your sitting around the station thinking deep thoughts.

902 you are just too dumb to argue with!!! You are just plain wrong and very uninformed. How many of the arsonists has the PD caught? In the meantime, you must deal with the fires that they create. This fire occurred at a home where 3 human beings were sleeping, do we just ignore their protection and choose instead to blindly pursue a criminal prosecution? Arson is a fire problem as well as a crime problem.

It is you sir who has way too much time to think or not-think as the case may be. You are not even a city resident so why do you feel that you should be making decisions about someone other persons level of protection? In the end, this will not be your decision. The people of the City are smart enough to make their determinations free from your poison pen and hateful comments here. Do us all a favor and go get a job. Stop criticizing those who have one; it just makes you look bitter and mean.
